Welcome to the Boyton Parish Council website

Boyton

Boyton is a small village in Suffolk. Called Boituna in Domesday, the proposed derivation of the modern name is Bay Town from the proximity of the village to Hollesley Bay.

There is a free monthly magazine which will keep you up to date with all the latest news and what's on.  Village Voices is delivered every month, or you can visit the Village Voices website. 

Help during the pandemic is available from the Good Neighbour Scheme and on the Village Voices website 

If you are new to the village, there is a welcome pack that provides you with a wide range of information, useful telephone numbers and local organisations. Also Boyton Community group has additional information such as ordering oil.
